We’re looking for our first shelter and rescue partners to shape this with us.
Let’s talk
By the time a dog is adopted, a lot of people know them well. The shelter team. The foster carer who worked out that she eats better in a quiet corner, that storms scare her, that she won’t settle without her blanket.
That knowledge is hard won, and too often it gets lost at handover.
Routine, feeding, walks, behaviour notes and the must knows, kept together.
They start with what the shelter already knows, and add what they learn.
The new family starts with everything that helps the dog settle, not from scratch.
Shelter and new family stay connected after adoption, before full access passes to the new pet parent.
We believe a dog is forever, not a season. I built The Paws We Love for my own two dogs, and I’d love to help the dogs who are still waiting for theirs.
The app is live today for pet parents and sitters. The shelter side isn’t built yet, and that’s on purpose. We want to build it with shelters, around how you actually work.
If you’re part of a shelter, rescue or foster network and this sounds useful, we’d love a short chat.
Mary will be in touch personally within a few days.
